OVERALL PERSONALITY:Azrael is a rough and tumble girl, having been raised by her brothers. Her father hates her for not being like her mother, like the beauty queen and gorgeous, delicate and lady like. When Azrael was born, on Friday the 13th, her mother died giving birth resulting in Azrael never having met the woman. Her father resented Azrael because of this and was never around much, leaving to go on business trips and spending much of his time far, far away.
Her father is rarely home, mostly on holidays which always resulted in Azrael always leaving. Finally moving out at 18, she’s been on her own and has had no reason to go home anymore, her brothers occasionally visiting her. She is the type of girl who fights for any reason and enjoys it, working out a lot and lives with her three dogs in her own apartment and drives her beat up truck. She barely passed high school and as such chose not to go to college and lived on her money from climbing.
She is very loud and obnoxious, crass and the least politically correct person you will ever meet. She doesn’t do it on purpose, more growing up with brothers in college and learning to mimic them and fight for attention, her father constantly blaming her with her mother’s death. As such, Azrael is stuck between a place of uncertainty if she should be a boy or a girl and has problems with accepting her looks as it is.

HISTORY:Azrael was born as the last child to Darius and Ann Devlin, a devout Catholic family with a Scottish/Irish background. She is the youngest of 8 boys and the only girl as her mother died giving birth to her. Her father has always blamed Azrael for this and took every opportunity to remind her that she was nothing like her mother and as such a failure. Azrael’s brothers were the ones that raised her.
Azrael grew up playing football and running around, being rough and tumble, growing up with boys who were in college and being loud. Her brothers had a history of fighting and that family that could outdrink anyone. She already had her reputation in place as a trouble maker and someone who you did not mess with. Azrael was closest to three of her brothers, Norman who was primarily the one responsible for her rock climbing and ambitions. The twins Julius and Duwayne were the ones that she was also closest to, due to the age differences.
Azrael finally moved out at 18 and left far off from home and ran far away to never deal with her father again. The fights there often turned physical between them, with Azrael disappearing for a weekend afterwards. She was always the one who could survive against the odds outside and in most any other climate. She was the one who always managed to survive outside and scrape by with blood, sweat, and cigarette smoke. She was diagnosed at an early age with the inability to feel fear, after she was running after her brothers and doing what they did, breaking her limbs multiple times and quite unafraid of the various happenings.
