madi has always been the popular one; the one the girls want to be friends with and the one all the guys want to.. well you know. She smart and charismatic, not to mention beautiful and sharp-witted. In high school, madison developed a heavy drug and alcohol addiction that she has battled ever since. Another flaw is that she's been known to be a bit..indecisive when it comes to men and love. HISTORY:

madison was born the first and only child to jackie and lewis knight of jacksonville, florida. growing up with parents both as doctors, one would have guessed she'd have been raised by nannies, but the knights always made time for their daughter. madison was definitely a daddy's girl though and would follow him around everywhere. not that she was a tom boy or anything, she just liked hearing what he had to say. he'd talk to her about his work cases and not like she was a child either. he would treat her almost like an equal.

so what lead this girl from daddy's princess to drug addict? well that's a tough question. high school was easy for madison, popularity and academics seemed to go hand in hand, but so did the pressure to keep up appearances. she was just fourteen when she tried coke at a party and from there it was a downward spiral. she'd sleep around and life became meaningless. drugs became an escape from being "perfect" and she liked that...too much. by sixteen, she was ordered to attend rehab after being caught by the police on posession charges. it was there she met alec o'connor. she was terrified of the place, but he helped her through it and when it was time to leave, she was ready.

now sober, she was different. though still the same infectious girl, she was now know as "the girl that fucked up and landed herself in rehab". she was determined more than ever to clean her act, but it was a hard road for sure. one afternoon, while working out, she met a guy that seemed to make her feel alive without the need for substance, this man was oliver townsend, who'd later become her husband.

though they had twists and turns and madison had trouble with.. stability, he was always there for her and when he proposed to her (while she was with someone else, I may add) something inside her couldn't say no. she was seventeen and madly, hopelessly in love. they got married shortly after and madison, wanting a change, applied to college here. she got in and they moved.
