Azi actually managed to flush some at the cheek kiss, unused to someone actually wanting to be affectionate and she bit her lip before sticking her tongue out at Dean once he was a safe distance away. She sighed and picked up the cat care bag, rolling her eyes some before smiling slightly and scratching the dog's ears. She cooed slightly at him before following Dean up the stairs, willing away all the color in her cheeks.
"Both sounds like a helluva lot more fun, redneck," she dryly informed him as she followed him up the stairs, arching an eyebrow at his nickname for her. "And you just got lucky."

"Hey I ain't that country am I?" Dean asked, then realizing how strong his southern drawl got when he was back home in Georgia. "Did I hear drinks?" Piper had appeared at railing at the top of the staircase again. "Let's go somewhere classy! How about Saya? Did you pack a little black dress Azi?" Piper's eyes were bright and full of energy, plus Saya was the ultra classy lounge downtown that she loved. She even played there a few times. "I'll call to see if they want a last minute musician then Pie..." Dean told her with a teasing smile as he set the bags down at Piper's open door.
"Put on a nice button up and vest Dean, and please for the love of all things good don't wear cowboy boots!" Piper told him before looking back at Azi.

Azi gave Pie a look that clearly spelled out she was not a girly girl. It was something that had been born into some people and others learned. Azrael Devlin was not one of them. "Piper. I don't even own anything remotely girl related. So the answer is no," she said with a flat look. Like hell was she going to survive this night.
Azrael sighed and handed Piper off her bag before making an excuse of needing to go smoke before she headed back down the stairs, placing Charlie on a table top and heading outside to grab a cigarette. She was in the deep end and sinking fast.
Azrael sighed and tossed her baseball cap in the cab of her truck before leaning against the side and lighting up one of her coffin nails and inhaling the pungent smoke before exhaling. She knew for sure she didn't belong hanging around them now.

Piper followed Azi out the door, practically skipping, the dogs bouncing at her heels, after sending Dean off to his own closet, which admittedly wasn't nearly as taken care of as Piper's was. He mainly cared for his work clothes and spent his clothes money on things like photographer vests. Piper and his mother pretty much stocked it whenever he was gone.
"So that's even more of a reason to go shopping on me, call it a thank you gift." Piper said with a very convincing I'm-being-all-cute-and-innocent smile.

Azi snorted from her position against her truck. She was learning better than to agree and let her hot headedness get her into trouble. She arched an eyebrow at the small Starr sibling before shaking her head. "More reason to not agree. I don't wear dresses, Piper. No skirts or heels either. It won't end well. I live in pants. Plus I would look like a horrible drag queen."
Azi honestly didn't trust herself in girl clothing, mostly because she could never hold a candle to her dead mother, a woman she'd never met yet was always compared to. Her mother has been a beauty queen and a perfect woman, but hadn't survived giving birth to her daughter. It was a guilt Azi carried with her always and the reason she swore to never wear a dress unless she was getting married.
"Look, I'll make you a deal. If I ever get married, you can help me with a dress. Until then, no dresses."

"Nice dress denim , nice top, and cute flats then?" Piper asked hopefully. "I promise, it'll be fun! Saya is gorgeous and the bartenders are amazing! They're a bit pyro sometimes though. I'll even do your hair" She said. "And Dean's going to look pretty dashing, he always does when we go out to lounges and places." She added with a wink.
Back in the house, Dean peeked out the window to see Piper looking like she was babbling away with her girly girlness. He rolled his eyes and picked up his phone to call Saya to see if they'd give his sister something to do. The Starrs were all pretty popular downtown, with Mr. Starr having played at a lot of places, Mrs. Starr's artwork decorating several bars, and the kids running around at their dad's shows until they were old enough to go out on their own. Most of the bartenders and owners watched them grow up.

Azi sighed, running a hand through her hair, laughing some. "Fine. If it doesn't have pockets, forget it. Also, you won't have any luck with my hair. It's straight and wont hold any style. Best of luck. And you are not buying me anything," she finished as she flicked a cigarette off to the side.
She was nervous, yes, and wasn't exactly ready to face the firing squad, but she may as well show them she was not exactly from the same cloth they were. It was pretty obvious that Azi felt beyond inadequate when compared to them, but she hid it as best she could.

"Dress denim tends to have pockets, they're like jeans, but they supposedly look more upscale of whatever, something about the cuts and waistlines or whatever." Piper said.
****Time Skip****
Soon enough Piper had dragged Azi and Dean to the nearest mall and made a dash for Guess with Azi. Dean figured it would be his time to escape, so he ran off to the nearest camera store before Piper caught him. Not like his sister hadn't bought enough clothes for him that she needed him for sizing anyways. Piper's reaction to that was just to shake her head, roll her eyes, and turn to Azi, sizing up the girl before walking around a few racks, occasionally pulling out something that she handed to Azi. Included was a mini skirt, leather leggings, dress denim, and strapless shirts among others.

Azi sighed at them, following Piper around and holding the clothing and obediently following and trying on clothing with minimal resistance except when presented with neon colors or pink. Azi sighed and simply wandered off and poked at a few baggier styles, sighing and eventually paying for whatever Pie picked out.

****Time Skip**** Arriving at Saya felt like home to Piper. She took a deep breath outside the tall building. Dean followed behind with two guitar cases, the main and the spare, which he might eventually pick up. Piper's dress was white, strapless, with a little bit of a roaching on the skirt part. And of course, it sparkled just like her sky high heels.
Dean waved to the bouncer who led them to the small stage where the regular DJ helped Piper set up. At that point, Dean said a few words to the owner and then led Azi straight to the bar where they'd have a good view. He put his card on the table. "Open up a tab for us and the redhead." he told the bartender with a wink.

Azi sighed and simply follower behind. She'd offered to help carry things, but it was hardly necessary and Piper told her to shut up. So she promptly did, deciding to be a good girl tonight. Well, mostly. Depends if someone pissed her off, but luckily Azi was more of a flirty drunk than a fighting one.
She tugged slightly at the jeans Piper had picked out, insisting on something with straps because God knew that she'd embarrassed herself. Azi sighed and slipped into a seat, mostly hidden behind Dean since she was still uncomfortable with her looks, despite Piper's incessant babbling about it.
Azi had to consciously check that she wasn't sitting on her loose hair, coaxing it into a half ponytail that kept it from being too in the way. She sighed, hoping at least that the place served decent beer, not watered down lite stuff that a lot of places seemed to carry. She curiously watched the interactions of the siblings, twisting a loose piece of hair in her fingers as she sat back, content to play wallflower.
She would admit that both Dean and Piper looked great, a thought that caused her to close her eyes briefly as she forced herself to stop worrying so much and try to relax. Besides, it wasn't like she'd see these people again, right? Well. Except the siblings it seemed, they always popped up one with the other.

"I know, martini bars, not exactly my style either, but we're friends with the owners so they take care of us, order anything you want." Dean told Azi, noticing she probably wasn't used to dressing up for a martini lounge. "I feel so freaking stiff in the whole shirt and tie getup." he rolled his eyes.
Across the room, Piper was sitting on a cushy looking barstool, like an angel with the white dress, all she would need would be the wings. Her guitar even matched, white with a bit of a sparkle. "Hey ya'll, how's it goin' tonight? I'm taking song requests all night long but I'll start with a little bit of Young and Beautiful Carrie Underwood!" She said into the mic before her voice filled the room.

Azi smiled some, a quick upturn of lips. "My usual spot involves more debauchery and fighting and I can wear normal clothing. Not...this," she said with a shrug. She was somewhat curious about Pie and took in the setting, content to stay behind and support. She could do that without fucking up, yeah?
Azi made somewhat of a face at Dean and waited for him to order before she stuck her tongue out at him when he wasn't looking, mostly because he looked a helluva lot better and more comfortable than she did. Or maybe he just played it off better, either way she shrugged and ordered a beer happy to occupy herself with something, less she get into more trouble.
Azi nearly groaned with the country music, but nevermind she was in the deep south. It was this or Christian music and she wasn't going near it with a ten foot pole, so this she would deal with. So long as no one tried to get her to dance, life would be great.

"Well I've seen the fair share of fights up here, I still wonder how people fight in suits..." The bartender walked up to Dean and Azi, "Hey Mr. Starr, who's tonight's lucky lady and what can I get you?" He asked as he set the beer on the table. "Local brew, hope you like it." "Hit me with your best scotch tonight Brad, on the rocks of course." Dean told the bartender. He glanced over to Piper, "And fix up a skinny raspberry lemon drop or something sissy for the redhead, not too strong, she's DD tonight." He added with a wink. Really he just knew it was bad news for Piper to get too drunk anyways. "Right on it" the bartender said before whisking off to the liquor shelf.
"I've got to at least pretend to be classy since I'm the family's PR sometimes, especially when the folks are gone." Dean said with a chuckle.
"So someone reminded me it's 80s night." Piper said into the micorphone, rather sheepishly. "So let's try something a bit more classic." "Sweet Home Alabama" had at least half the room singing along as soon as the intro started.

Azi arched an eyebrow and shook her head some, staying quiet and simply playing a role. Normally she'd have already swapped stories with half the bar at home, seeing as she was a regular and someone that had a little family's there. She was always there and dependable and pretty much clockwork. She sighed some and took a drink of the beer, refraining from commenting.
The bartender's words made Azi wonder and doubt if anything was worth paying attention to, so she just kinda shrugged a shoulder and decided that playing the good girl hardly suited her. It wasn't a moments before her hair was up in a ponytail and out of her way, despite whatever Piper had said.
"Lucky you then, Mr. Starr," she teased some, a faint smile.on her face as she toasted him with the glass.
