Fallow was incredibly unprepared as he stood in his cute single story home. Tonight was the night his friend Georgiana was coming to dinner. It was Friday night and he was shuffling around getting ready, almost unsure why he was fretting over his home so much. Fallow was naturally clean and everything was in its place. Paintings on the walls, pictures of his family, friends, and the horses that had taken his father to the Olympics. He had vaccumed, twice, and the floor was spot free. His beloved Doberman dog lay in his bed near the door. His ingrediants for dinner was all set out around his kitchen counter and on the island.
The windows were washed, the dog was washed, his medical supplies were put away. The TV was clean and the hardwood floors in the foyer were shined and gleaming. Everything looked perfect but Fallow was still in a panic. He hoped his home looked presentable to her. He'd never seen how clean she was in the way of housework, but he got a very neat vibe from her.
He prayed she liked his dog, who was rather intimidating at first sightbut was actually very sweet. Decon did have a habit of jumping and licking, but he was incredibly harmless, he just looked scary. Kinda like Fallow himself. Hurrying into the kitchen, Fallow looked through his ingredients. T-bone steak, veggies, and all the things needed to make a cheesecake.
Today he wanted her to see him cook, maybe even help him. He smiled at the thought and listened for the doorbell.

He had just changed his shirt for the second time our of nervousness that he didn't hear the doorbell until Decon ran to the door and started barking savagely. Of course, in dog lauguage, Decon's barks at the door probably meant somethine like "PERSON PERSON! FRIEND! PLAY PLAY!" The huge Dobby dog jumped on the door and kept barking. Fallow rushed down the hall and grabbed his beloved canine's collar
Decon was a strange dog with an even stranger history. Fallow had gotten the large animal as a rescue dog in the local shelter when he first arrived in town. He was told that Decon was originally used as a hunting dog for rats, hence the name. The story itself was strange, but Fallow himself was strange and he was in love with the black and tan beast since moment one. With that thought, a realization hit him. Georgiana had no idea he owned a dog, let alone a Doberman. A breed with a terrible reputation as being aggressive and even deadly. Good for making first impressions was said breed jumping on the other side of the door barking deeply. Fallow sighed and tugged the big dog away from the door as he opened it.
"Georgiana - hey!" he smiled at her keeping a firm hold on Decon while he squirmed and yipped, trying to get to the beautiful blonde so he could lick her to death. A guilty look flashed through Fallow's expression, hoping he didn't scare her "come on in, I was about to start dinner. I'll need your help. he stepped to the side for her and pulled his dog to the kitchen and out the sliding glass door and into the decent sized backyard where he put his beast on the chain that was long enough for the animal to wander the yard without getting too bored.
Walking back into the house he grinned at his crush "Sorry for the commotion. Decon's really friendly, the worst he could do is knock you over and slobber on you a bit. he smiled weakly at her then stood erect and looked around, suddenly very nervous, a blush creeping across his fair cheeks as his mind blanked, leaving him afraid and not knowing what he should do next.

Standing on the other side of the door she could feel her palms sweat just a little bit. What if he decided to change his mind or something? What if he found out that she had a crush on him and that all this just couldn't and wouldn't work. Georgie let out a deep breath closing her eyes for just a moment. After she knocked she heard a deep barking from the other side of the door. The unexpectedness of it made her jump momentarily before settling. She had no idea he owned a dog and the thought made her smile. She adored animals so badly and a dog sounded perfect for him. Someone had to keep him company right? She heard a small scuffle on the other side, like a dog being moved out the way and it made her smile. Then there was Fallow smiling at her and all her nerves went away. She knew he had been nothing but good to her.
"Hey!"
She looked down at the doberman dog and he was seriously beautiful. Also seriously misjudged. Most people thought of these dogs as aggressive and mean, mainly they were just protective and cute. This one seriously did look friendly enough. Fallow invited her in and she walked forward ready to embrace his home life not just him meeting her at the university for lunch. She patted the dog on the way past so he didn't feel too left out an got licked all up her arm. She giggeled slightly and wiped the drool on Fallow's arm. Seriously why not? "Just thought I'd share your dog's lovely drool with you" The smile staying planted on her lips. His earlier words finally sinking in that he wanted her help to cook their dinner. Wow, that was going to be fun. She wasn't much of a cook. Georgie watched as Fallow put his dog outside for him to run around or maybe just stare at them through the window. Either way was good. She smiled and shrugged him off. 'Nah he's adorable." She said smiling and then added "Also you may want to reconsider me helping you cook. I can burn baked beans" She said with a slight chuckle at the memory. Looking at Fallow she saw a small amount of redness cross his features. So he really was as nervous as she had been when she had been waiting for him to answer the door. At least they were even now. But she knew even for him that it would all settle down once they were cooking and eating. They always ate together so at least that was something. She turned in a mini circle looking at everything in the front room. Being a doctor must really pay well because this place looked amazing! She was smiling in wonder. She even saw some pictures of Fallow before he received his burn scar. Nothing had changed his face was still beautiful. "Your house is amazing. You should see the one I have in England, I swear it's like a castle but this, it's so cosy" She turned back towards Fallow and smiled wazlking into the kitchen. She was starving so she figured it would be a good time to get cooking. "Ok where do you need me to help?" She said with an affectionate smile towards him. Her hair was down but she didn't mind. SHe flicked it over her shoulder to get it out of the way and washed her hands quickly so she wouldn't ge tthe dog's drool in their food. She was as beautiful as ever. His cheeks flushed slightly when she smiled at him. Curse this blasted crush. He didn't want his feelings toward her to become so obvious. He was an adult man who knew it was a bad idea to like children, or at least women ten years his junior. He was afraid she'd leave if she figured out that he wanted her.
Despite his kindness, Fallow was very possessive of the things he loved. Especially women. In his eyes, Georgiana already belonged to him and him alone. He was glad she didn't have a boyfriend or he'd completely lose it. He wasn't going to tell her this little fact that he believed he "owned" her. A family flaw, it was.
When she wiped her hands on his arms he made a face that could have been playful disgust. "I get enough of his drool already." he whined, though clearly playing as he led her into the kitchen. It was a large room with an island. Set out were all the things he planned to make. Two t-bone steaks with lime jelly, a nice Italian style salad and pasta.
He didn't seem surprised when she mentioned she couldn't cook. He even laughed "I know you can't cook. If you were able to I wouldn't have to feed you three times a week" he sounded as good natured as ever. Fallow didn't mind cooking for her. He really enjoyed it, and the tought that he could now teach her his skill made him even more excited.
Decon stared through the window at them while Fallow shuffled around getting the pots and pans he needed, heading outside to prepare the grill for their steak before heading back inside. 'Cooking's easy, trust me." he said, turning the stove on. He grinned when she talked about her home in England. "You know my father. So you can guess where I was raised.... A barn" he laughed, tough almost sadly. It was the London Olympics this year. The first Olympics since his birth that his father wouldn't be competing in, and Fallow didn't carry the family line. The Scott family would slowly fade from the equestrian world.
"Okay... Here's what I want you to do. Put those tomatos, lettuce, and other salad things in a big bag, put some dressing in there and shake it. Hard."

Georgie was happy to finally be admitted into his household. Everything about him fascinated her, even if it meant admitting she had a small crush on him, she had never really been on to hide around the corner with her feelings. She figured that tonight she was going to lay it all down on the table but ask that they not ruin their friendship and although she knew there was no way for him to reciprocate her feelings, she could keep her best friend out of this. She hated hiding something from him even if it meant a small amount of rejection on her side of all of this. She didn't let any of this show whilst standing here in his presence though. Instead she was just enthralled about being inside his place of residence that he called home. She wondered if he missed England but she doubted it, especially with his parents and everything that had happened.
He brought her back to this reality when he spoke. She spun around to look at him her hair flying around her in her wake. She couldn't help her little giggle come through at his words. At least he wasn't surprised by his own dogs' drool, that was good. When they walked into the kitchen she had to have her look around. The place was quit large, it would have to be for the amount of cooking he did for more than one person. The island in the middle of the room held one hell of a lot of ingrediants. She knew they were eating steak as she could see them but couldn't tell what all the little things were. Pasta, yum and some salad things. She shrugged it off, she could do salad, it meant that she didn't have to cook too much and that worked for her. She kept flicking her eyes towards Fallow as well, watching him and how he reacted around her in his home.
His laughing made Georgie blush. Ok so it was no secret that she couldn't cook but he really had to laugh at her for it?! She smiled gently and hid behind her hair a little but listened to what he said none the less. Of course he knew that. She shrugged it off. "No admit it, the only reason you cook for me is because you can't stay away from my bedazzling personality"
She said with a slight smile and a playful tease to her voice. "You enjoy cooking for me really though because I am someone who appreciates food" She said it with a smile as she moved to walk next to him and look up at him. His green eyes were literally sparkling and she took it as a compliment that he enjoyed her company so much. It was a good job she didn't really act as a child. She watched as he walked over and turned on the stove. Ok so they were to get down to buisness. She heard her stomach rumble slightly but not audible enough for Fallow to hear thank god. When she started talking about her house he told her about his barn in England also. She smiled and nodded. It was true she knew his father because of his job. Georgie was big on horses as well and was told to try out for the nationals here and maybe get into the olympics herself. Dressage on horses was something she was actually good at. "That's ok though because I lived in the stables at my old house so we are more alike than you realise" Georgie said with a smile. She loved being around him, he made her feel comfortable in every way. Fallow turned around and looked very doctorish when he spoke to her it made her smile but listen attentively. Yay she got to do the salad, the easy part. She nodded her head. "Aye aye captain" She smiled at him. Quick to do as she was told she grabbed the tomoatoes and lettuce and put them into a bag nicely. She found cucumber and some grass leaves and added them in as well. She knew what everything was just no good and putting it all together. Adding the dressing and another small layer of lettuce she closed up the bag and gave it a rather large shake. She kept it going nd concentrated on her task at hand. Once satisfied that the dressing covered everything it was supposed to she looked up. "Is this good enough doc?" WORDS! Unsure STATUS! Complete TAGS! Fallow NOTES! Yay INSPIRATION! Taylor Swift Forever & Always CREDITS! Template By arro @ Caution! He observed her quietly, his mind straying from his body again. He thought about his first date, it was after he got his burn, when the blood, puss, and blisters still clung to his skin. He thought the girl was beautiful and kind. She seemed to like him too. Turns out, she only went on a date with him to get to his father. She seriously hated Fallow and his destroyed face.
Georgie was different though. Somuch different. His heart pounded when she watched him. He almost blushed. No, he had to hold his feelings in. As much as he liked this woman, he just couldn't admit his feelings to her, she was the only friend he'd had in years.
He stopped laughing when she hid behind her golden locks. Instantly sorry, afraid he'd made her upset. Reaching over he gently brushed the strands of hair behind her ear. He was about to apologize when she spoke, making him smile again, dropping his hand from her face "Bedazzling personality? More like personality, looks, and.. Everything else" realizing then that he hinted his feelings he quickly winked and leaned back a bit "A girl as pretty as you, with a load of crap like me" he let out a whistle "Imagine what that does to my self esteem!" he let out a low chuckle. Okay maybe what he said was kind of mean, but at the moment he didn't care, as long as his secret stayed safe.
In an attempt to lighten the mood, again, he smiled easily at her "I enjoy cooking for you because you're you, Georgie." he said softly, voice almost a whisper. He then retreated to the stove, putting the pasta noodles in the pot on the stove before putting the steaks in a rectangular pan, starting to season it.
Even with simple flicks of his wrists, the muscles in his arms flexed easily under his slowly tanning skin. Showing that behind his shy, gentle Fallowness. It was clear that he could be an incredible force to reckon with.
Looking up when she asked about the salad he smiled and nodded "Looks great, go ahead and put it in a bowl then you can help with the steaks" he looked away again, contemplating telling her, biting his lip.
After just a few moments, he decided. Putting down his fork from tenderizing the steaks he looked at her. "Hey uhh, Georgie? Can I talk to you real fast? his voice trembled just slightly, showing his nervousness

Georgie could feel is eyes on her. She didn't turn to meet them though, what if she blushed to the extreme? She hated blushing because of how pale she was it turned her entire face tomato red. It was embarrassing enough without having to explain why she was blushing. She shrugged it off none the less though and continued her observation. Even though he was a doctor and knew he would be the sort of person who liked everything to be clean, but she hadn't expected him to be organised as well. She was never either of the two, her dorm room was state and a half. She always just had a path through the clothing and music from her closet, bathroom and bed. Everywhere else it was just a mess. She hoped that should she ever take Fallow there it all got cleaned up before bad things happened.
When Fallow reached forward and brushed her hair behind her ear she froze but only for a mini second. She doubted he even noticed it. Then she relaxed once more. At least she knew that when they touched in an intimate setting everything changed. Well that was in her eyes anyway. He probably thought of her as a child and treated her like he was her big sister. Georgie hoped with all her might that it wasn't the case. She knew it was wrong to want more but she really did. She had never met anyone like him and it was fun when he was around and she felt as though she could be herself without being judged from her family back ground. Fallow had always been nothing but good to her and looked out for her and was even a shoulder to cry on when things got a little hectic. She hoped none of that would change when they were around each other.
He spoke once more and the smile that never truly left her lips grew once more. It always reached her eyes when she was with him. When he spoke and said all those nice thing about him she smiled and shook her head. "I knew it! Who would be able to stay away from all of this really? Except from everyone including my own brother. Your the only one crazy enough to put up with me"
She said with a small smile. It was true she didn't really have a lot of friends on campus. Maybe it was because she lived in her dorm alone. She nudged him with her shoulder and shook her head. "Oh please. Your self esteem is already way up there. Maybe your ego needs knocking down a little bit before you take a hit on yourself like that?" She said with a small shake of her head. They cooked as they spoke which made life just that much easier. It was easy to concentrate on small things at a time. Much easier than trying to cook an entire meal to yourself. She was a bad cook but at least she knew small things. She smiled and nodded. "Plus my appreciation for your amazing food. Seriously where did you learn to cook? It's always so good?" She asked with a curious smile. She was curious because if he was self learned well then that was slightly amazing because she couldn't cook to save her life. Everyone who knew her knew that about her. She watched as he put on the pasta and started on the next thing. She nodded at his comment and put all the salad into a nice bowl sitting next to her and walked over to wash her hands and then stand next to the steaks. This was going to be interesting, When Fallow spoke next though something changed. Maybe it was the nervous tremble in his voice when he spoke and it almost got her worried. He wasn't about to tell her that he was moving away or something ridiculous like that was he? Her mind racing she nodded encouragingly. "Yeah of course what's up?" She asked him carefully. She also didn't want anything to screw up this night so if this was bad news she might burst into tears and ruin her make-up. Never a good look.... ever. WORDS! Unsure STATUS! She spoke of his self esteem as if he had some. He hid it well, but Fallow didn't have very good self esteem. The poor man was always breaking one way or another. The only person who didn't see this side of him was Gerogiana herself. When they first met, he was as shy as could be, but he warmed up to her rather quickly, seemingly abandoning his own personality and adopting a new one just for her.
When Georgie wasn't around, Fallow Scott was a disaster. He didn't hold his head, his shoulders would slump as he would hurry from place to place, hoping no one would see his face. Even to some patients at work he would show this type of behavior. Nervous, quiet, broken. Sometimes at night, Fallow would often wake up, sobbing. Wondering; why him? Why did he need this pain?
He would cry for what could have been. Fallow wanted to get married, he wanted to have a family and live a full and happy life. He could already have one of those things. At twenty eight years old, a lot of young successful men were married, some of his co workers had children already, sometimes bringing their babes to work.
Fallow adored children. He loved the innocence in life, their eagerness to learn. He yearned to have a child of his own one day, and give them the childhood his own parents had failed to give him. But, if he did have kids, would they grow up ashamed of their father's face? Or would they defend the little pride he had left.
Looking up and Georgie he wondered; would she be the mother of his future childre? Would they be married one day? He stopped himself at the thought. No, that could never happen. He didn't know if Georgie even wanted children of her own, especially with him. He'd be lucky to even kiss her, let alone have sex with her. His cheeks turned a light red at the thought. Sex... Georgiana didn't know he was a virgin, and even if she asked he would probably deny it, say he picked up a hooker or something. No, he couldn't lie to her, especially about this. Was she a virgin? His cheeks turned bright pink and he was suddenly very happy his back was turned to her at the moment.
Looking up at her after his skin cooled he managed a small smile "Trust me, my self esteem isn't great.... Unless I'm with you" he said, turning back to his steaks before moving them onto a large metal pan and slipping it in the oven to cook. A good hour in the oven and it would be perfect. With that done he checked the noodles before pouring them into a strainer to drain before "I taught myself, my parents didn't like cooking for me." he said simply as he drained the noodles then turning and facing her.
Now was the moment of truth, her gently touched her back and herded her to the living room, sitting on the couch, pulling her down beside him he hesitated for a moment before speaking "I need to tell you that.... Umm" he paused, searching for the words. There were no words. It was hard to just say it. What if she laughed? He watched her, his unblinking blind eye staring her right in the face as he wondered.
Leaning forward a bit, his lips parted as he realized his face was only inches from hers. He stared into her eyes "Umm..." then something inside him simply snapped, he placed both hands on either side of her face and pulled her closer to him, leaning forward until his lips met hers.

Georgie was having a good time surprisingly. She wanted to see and know everything there was to see and know when it came to Fallow. He had always fascinated her and she had always wondered what he did at home and what made him content. Obviously he couldn't go home to his family because of what had happened in his past but that didn't mean that he couldn't find comfort some other way right? She hoped she was a part of all of that but it wasn't usually the way things worked out for her. Most people ignored her or just called her a stuck up nerd. She couldn't help it if she was extremely mature for her age. She wasn't one to drink much, she preferred to get her studies done and ride her horse rather than go out for a night you don't end up remembering. She didn't understand where the fun was in that. She shrugged it off and concentrated on the here and now with Fallow.
She couldn't see his face but could tell he was thinking about something he wouldn't want to share. It was fair enough everyone was entitles to their private thoughts. She shrugged it off and flipped her hair over her shoulders. She turned to him, he had pretty long hair as well, it was always something she admired about him. "Do you have a spare hair tie? I don't want my long hair in the food. I can imagine it wouldn't taste and good as it smells"
He asked with a small playful smile. She always used her favourite strawberry smelling shampoo and conditioner but that didn't mean it was edible. Not to mention her hair kind of stood out, especially against steaks. Never a good thing. She was tired of flipping it over her shoulder. She would take it back down after they had finished cooking because she wasn't a great fan of having her hair up all the time. She bowed playfully with a small smile on her face. So he had low self esteem. Personally she couldn't blame him but people needed to learn not to judge a book by it's cover. He was beautiful even with his scars. The way his green eyes glittered and sparkled and that body was to die for. But he was also a nice guy, someone who could be trusted and actually listened when you spoke. How rude. "Good to know I am of use" He small giggle following her statement. When she asked about who taught him to cook he responded that he taught himself. She stared at him eyes wide for a moment. She smiled afterwards though. "Well there goes my plan to get you to teach me. Maybe I could figure it out all on my own. Or burn down a building. Either way i'm learning" She said with a slight hint of sarcasm in her voice. Now that everything was cooking it seemed there wasn't much else left to do around the kitchen. He gently put his ahnd on her back and she let him lead her into the front room. They both sat down and Georgia took her hair out once more. She shook it around her so it feel around her shoulders the way she liked it. Looking over at him she could see he was really worried about this. She waited carefully. He obviously was worried about what she would say in response. He tried to speak but nothing came out other than an umm. She stared at him and watched his hands carefully before looking back up into his deep sea green eyes. They really were something that she could easily loose herself in. She wondered if he no longer wanted her around because of what people were saying about that day they were out on the university grounds. She hoped not. Waiting patiently she didn't think nor expect what happened next. Obviously getting the words out just wasn't something that was happening so he had decided to show her. Well that worked just fine. Feeling his hands on either side of her face and pulling her closer to him. Their lips met and Georgie swore she felt as though she was on fire. Her eyes widening for a moment before they closed. He actually felt the same. She reached across one hand to go across his cheek. She felt the burn scar but paid no mind to it. Instead her hand went into his long hair and entwined her hand there. The kiss was blissful and completely chaste... well for now anyway. She had never felt just electricity nor fire raging underneath her. She was no virgin don't get me wrong but no one had ever made her feel quite like this. WORDS! Unsure STATUS! Complete TAGS! Fallow NOTES! OMG Soo good! INSPIRATION! It was very clear in how he moved his body that he was inexperienced and well... Completely clueless on what he was doing exactly. His lips moved awkwardly as he experimented a bit. Learning her lips, and learning how to work his own. Her reaction caught him off guard. Her hand touched the scar on his cheek, so gently that he almost didn't feel it. He leaned into her hand just slightly, his lips parting just a little before they pressed against hers once more. He let out a barely audible moan when her hand tangled in his long hair.
His body then did something he would never have expected. He reacted like a man. The muscles in his chest and... Other areas, locked up as his lips became a bit rougher on hers, yet keeping his gentle Fallowness. His hands abandoned her face, one arm tangling in her hair around her neck, the other arm locking around her waist, holding her against him. His lips moved across her, his face flushed red with the heat and emotion. Georgie. This was Georgie in his arms.
The passion lasted for another minute before a lightswitch turned on in his head. Georgie. She was so young. He didn't even know if she liked him, despite her reaction to his kiss. He suddenly felt like he was forcing himself on her. He was ashamed that the blood was pumping testosterone throughout his entire body. As suddenly as it started, the kiss ended. He moved away, staring at her. Terror was clear in his gaze before the tears started. He whispered softly "That was my first kiss...." then he was gone, racing down the hall way to his room, stumbling a bit. The door closed and he sat on his bed, rocking pathetically. Ridden with guilt. He was unaware that he'd left his bedroom door unlocked

It was almost as if he were too hesitant, unsure as to how she would react to him at first. Something just wasn't quite there. He was still experimenting with her where as she knew what she was doing. She let him take the lead though and waited for him to pull away because surely this was something that she was imagining right? No way was Fallow kissing her and he had been the one to instigate it. She knew this was real but it took a while for her brain to really process it, which made a change. She let herself relax into him allowing the feel of his lips against her take her over. It was almost as though this was the first time he had felt like this as well. Maybe her feelings were being reciprocated after all this time, it was almost like a dream come true for Georgie. How could she not have known he felt the same way. She felt silly almost instantly.
When she touched his scar their lips broke for a moment for him to lean into her hand. A small smile came across her untill their lips met once again. This time there was something just a little bit different. His moan sending shivers through her. It was almost as though he suddenly knew how to get what he wanted with her. His hands running into her own hair and onto her waist. Things were getting heavier and rough but Fallow's touch was still exceedingly gentle, something she absolutely loved about him. Her breathing coming harder and faster and a small blush appeared across her cheeks but nothing too bad. Her fair skin showing the pink glow. After another minute or so something changed in Fallow. He abruptly ended the kiss and she let him go and sat there staring at him wondering what was wrong. Then he spoke the words she hadn't expected. His first kiss!?
She watched as he fled the room and she sat there for a moment. What was one supposed to say to that. She sat there with her eyes wide and mouth open slightly. Then sucking in a deep breath of air she straightened her hair out at the back and stood up. She roughly knew which way he had gone and knew she would end up following him. There was no way she was ending anything like that. Walking into the hallway there were a few doors leading off but she just went straight. She knocked once but got nothing in return. Her palms were a little sweaty with nerves as to what she would say to him. Peeking around the door slightly she saw Fallow sitting on his bed almost rocking. Wow had she been that bad or something? She thought the kiss had been kind of epic truthfully. She opened the door and walked in and sat beside him taking his hand into hers.
Georgie wanted him to look at her but knew it probably wouldn't happen at least not yet. "Fallow, what happened? Why did you run away? It's ok that it was your first kiss, it was kind of an epic experience. Hey look at me, seriously i'm not going anywhere"
She said with a gentle smile. She stroked the back of his hand and watched him. He seemed like he was scared of something. Did he think she was just going to walk away or maybe it was their age difference. Very truthfully their age difference was a big issue but she wasn't ashamed. She had kissed the guy she had been crushing on for god knows how long. Not to mention her genuine feelings for him but it seemed that at first he had felt the same. She knew not to get her own feelings hurt by all of this, something was going on inside Fallow's mind, she just had to work out what it was. WORDS! Unsure STATUS! Complete TAGS! It was embarrassing, crying like this. He felt like a mere child. Wiping his sleeve across his eyes and sniffing he tried to force the tears away but they just kept coming. He felt so stupid. Kissing her like that! What was he thinking! If he hadn't stopped, how far would he have gone? He pictured himself trying to take her clothes off. Touching her soft... fair skin. Caressing her.... He smacked his hand against his forehead, internally telling himself to stop thinking these crazy thoughts. One kiss. That was it. No more. Just friends or not friends at all.
That thought itself made a sob choke him up. Tears streaming down his face. His back to the door he didn't hear her when she came in. Instead he just let himself cry, shoulders hunched over making him look completely pathetic. Georgie.. His sweet Georgie. He couldn't imagine life without her, now he ruined this experience of friendship. It was over. No way she'd want to know him now. He was nothing but a pervert. A dumbass.
When she spoke he leaped up in surprise, spinning around to face her. His face was filled with sorrow and very clear regret. This was the last time she'd want to see him, Despite her words, he was convinced she hated him now. "You're only saying that." he said that almost meanly, eyes narrowing a bit. Why was he suddenly angry? He stood over her, intimidating. "So what it was my first kiss!? That doesn't matter! No way could you like a virgin like me!" he snapped, going into his bathroom, keeping his eyes down not daring to look in the mirror.
She would think of him differently now that she knew he'd never had a woman before. Never proven himself as a man. His head was down as he leaned against the counter, trembling hard, sobbing audibly now. Completely embarrassed.

Georgiana had always been level headed, not a lot could stir her up. She generally knew exactly what to say and what it was that could make someone feel better. Looking at Fallow in his room slowly rocking back and forth with the small amount of tears strolling down his face, for once she was completely lost for words, trust me that was a hard thing to do. Georgie could only watch him and not know how to console him, how to make him feel better. She could easily just leave and let him be and call him tomorrow when the whole thing had blown over, but that just wasn't like her. Not to mention that she had been waiting to kiss him for a long time and he was treating it as though it had been a horrible mistake. She had no idea what to think. Either she had been really bad at kissing or he really didn't like her that way and felt bad for leading her on. Either way she could deal.
He spoke to her and said that she was just saying it. As if she would go anywhere. Fallow had been her only true friend here in this town, sure she knew a few people now but it still wasn't the same. She loved how she could just be herself around him and sometimes they were a little bit childish but she hardly ever acted her age. She hoped he would say that she really wasn't going anywhere. He meant the world to her but how could she say that when he was this upset? Would he even listen to her words without contridicting her in some way or another? She very highly doubted it. "Seriously Fallow I'm staying right here"
She said with a small sympathetic smile on her face. More than anything she just wanted to reassure him and make him feel better. Let him know that she didn't think of it as a huge mistake. It took her by slight surprise when her gentle and kind Fallow got slightly angry towards her. But it seemed like it wasn't actually directed towards her, more towards himself. She couldn't have that. So what if he was a virgin? She really couldn't have cared less. She let out a deep breath and watched him vanish into the bathroom. Then it all clicked together. He probably thought he was taking advantage of her. She almost smiled. Standing up she pushed her hand through her hair pushing it out of her face although the curls just tended to bounce right back. She rolled her eyes and shook her head slightly before walking into the bathroom behind him. Looking at his reflection in the mirror with the tears running down his face. She hated to see him like this and tried her hardest to think of something to show him. Then it all went together like a small light blub had been turned on in her head. Walking over to him she pulled on his shoulder to turn him around and face her. She wasn't exactly giving him a choice. Then without thinking about it she leant forward and kissed his softly. It was short and chaste before she pulled away and smiled. "You weren't taking advantage of me. I couldn't care less if you were a virgin or a manwhore although I would ask for you to be tested if you were a manwhore. Seriously Fallow, I like you, for you. Plus that was me taking advantage of your emotional state, we're even" Running her hands down his arm until she found his hands and she interlocked them. Seriously he would understand what she was feeling even if it killed her. She had been crushing on him for god knows how long and now she just wanted him to see it as well. WORDS! Confused, tired, and hurt, Fallow let himself cry. It was something he did. Yeah, it was pathetic, men shouldn't cry, but he couldn't help it. It was a way he relieved himself from stress. Georgiana had been lucky enough not to witness this side of him until now. Now she was able to see just what kind of person he was, bitter and softly. Not the man she thought him to be. No, he wasn't a man. Sometimes he wondered if he should be human. A solitary outcast people stared and laughed at. He wouldn't be surprised if parents told their children to be good or he'd come get them in their sleep.
A shiver went down his spine as he lifted one hand and placed it over his face, trembling with the effort to stop his sobs. When she said she wasn't going anywhere, he found himself angry again. Why? Why couldn't she just leave him in peace? Why did she have to stick around and watch his weakness like this. Perhaps she found enjoyment in it. Placing his hand back down on the counter, a fist formed and an almost dark look crossed his face. Not quite hostile, but it wasn't friendly either.
When she turned him around, he opened his mouth to tell her off, but before he could even think, her lips were against his. Blinking, his eyes fluttered closed, his lips pushing back against hers, returning the kiss just before she pulled away. Staring at her sadly while she spoke, shivering when her fingers went down his arm. He squeezed her hands when she took his, watching their fingers. He'd wanted to hold her hands like this for so long. Her words threw him off guard. She didn't care he was a virgin. Why? He was about to ask, then she said that she liked him. For him. Sniffing another tear rolled down his cheek.
"Georgie....." he whispered, moving her hands, wrapping them around his neck, letting go of her hands he placed his own on her waist, touching his forehead to her. "You know this isn't right. We both know this isn't right..." he trailed off a moment then pulled her close into a warm embrace, holding her head against his chest. His heart was pounding wildly. "I'm much too old for you. Why do you have to like me and not someone your own age?" his voice remained soft, but held a certain sadness. It was clear in the way he held her, and in the way he spoke, that he liked her very much.
