"Not fair!" Dean sputtered as he thrashed in the water for a moment before figuring out the direction he was supposed to be swimming wasn't the direction he was actually swimming. He stopped, his gaze chasing the long black hair and then plunged himself forwards. Dean sped after the girl, his long muscular legs propelling him through the water. He broke the water's surface for a gasp of air before diving back down and chasing after her. Honestly, the dark haired photographer had no idea where he was going. It's hard to win a race when one doesn't know where the finish line is isn't it? Then he saw it, the waterfall. It wasn't too big of a waterfall, it was actually pretty tiny. It wasn't something for majestic shots, but something to have fun in. And that cliff, it was awesome, the perfect height of his little hobby of cliff diving. That just had to be the assumed finish line, and the girl was beating him there. Dean dove back into the water and headed straight for the falls.

Azi grinned some and dove under the water, swirling around Dean and kicking off. She knew the area and was more than happy to break surface, kicking and splashing as she took off for the falls. She broke surface, taking in a gasp of air before diving back under the water, kicking straight for the falls and the pounding water, disappearing with a strong kick into the bubbles and swirling water. She popped up on the other side of the falls, out of Dean’s view. She stood up on the shallow shelf, the water swirling around her waist as she pulled her hairtie off her wrist.
Holding it in her mouth, she stood in the shelf as the water swirled around, waiting to see what Dean did as she pulled her hair into a quick braid, her fingers flying through the length of jet black strands, as she pulled the strands out of her face and eyes, blinking to clear the water out of her face. Azrael sighed with relief as her hair was finally out of the way, sliding back up on the shelf and sitting, splashing long legs in the water. The little ripples and her shadow showed out from behind the falls, a look that made her appear almost ghostly as she laughed a little.
“Come on, slow poke,” she said, laughing a bit as she stretched her legs out in the water, toes splashing. “Or you’re just all talk and no game.”

"You did not just say that!" Dean said with his usual grin as his strong arms lifted his torso out of the water at a rock shelf. "Hey! Where'd ya go?" he called when the girl disappeared. The only thing to do at this point was to push off and dive back under the water. He followed the current of the swirling water and the bubbles, Now the question was, would his broad shoulders fit between the rocks. It was a bit of a squeeze for him but he got through the opening to the other side of the falls. It was bubbly and tickled just a little bit. This was something he'd have to figure out how to get his camera to. There had to be a dryer way, but today staying dry wasn't even near a goal. Surfacing again he looked around and found Azi sitting on a rock shelf with her feet in the water. "Gotcha!" He cried before sending water flying her way and ducking back down. If he knew anything about her, it would be that she'd be extremely quick to retaliate when she had the chance. But he could only hold his breath for so long and had to come up for air.

Her response was immediate. She threw a hand up to block water from her eyes and shook her head, diving back under the surface with a practiced motion. Azi swore under her breath in the water as she wiggled out, following Dean before kicking up and breaking surface. She paused and looked around her, treading water and staying up as she searched for a human shaped blur. Making a face, she jack-knifed and dove under again with a kick and looker around for him, swimming away from the bubbles of the fall.
She surfaced again, this time in water where she could stand, her entire body except her shoulders still submerged. She could be patient, she thought, as she moved gently in the water, floating along. Azi sighed, submerging herself so that she simply floated like an ugly bump, waiting.

A few moments passed until Dean couldn't hold his breath any longer, even with his climber lungs. He turned his face upwards, barely surfacing and inhaled lungs full of air as quickly as he could without drinking too much water. In those few seconds, he saw a black splot of color in water. There she was.
Dean ducked back under the water and swam over to her, grabbing her ankles and giving them a gentle, but firm, yank as he came up for air a second time. Then he took off to find a place to hide knowing Azi's fury would probably catch him at some point. When that happened, he was well aware he was in for it. He sped back towards the falls, maybe it was a bit on the cowardly side, but whatever it took to "win" right?

Azi swore and followed the pull underwater before kicking up to the surface again, coughing as she inhaled some of the water before blinking to clear it out of her dark eyes. She spun around, following the bubbles and splashes before diving back under water, heading towards the falls. She veered off to the side for a moment, darting out of his vision as she looked for the hidden path that tracked along the side of the falls. It was a potentially dangerous one, extremely slippery and almost no traction or handholds and a few people had fallen and broken bones along this. However, this was one of those times that while she knew the facts, nothing registered. She simply climbed up out of the water, making sure that all of her movements were secure. She was determined to win.
Ducking her head as she slipped by the falls, feeling the pounding water come down over her head and shoulders, as she kept moving, soon out of the way of the torrents of water. Azi blinked and settled down on the cavern floor, waiting for Dean to pop up, not even in the water. Honestly, she was done playing whatever game she’d started since there wasn’t much more to do and she was a bit more worried about her dogs being alone without a visible person. Most people weren’t prone to sticking around to see if the huge dogs had an owner, rather they ran to find a ranger and then she got to have a nice long talk about leashes and blah blah blah.
Azi shrugged her shoulders, rotating her neck so it popped as she simply waited for Dean to surface and she would simply tap his head and lightly inform him that she’d won the game. Then she would simply jump back in the water and head off to shore to dry out again while it was still warm and sunny out. The sun did have a tendency to set quickly.

Dean headed to the falls, maybe he'd find a corner that she wouldn't be able to sneak up on him at somewhere among the rocks. He took a deep breath before diving under and squeezing himself through the rocks under the falls. The water on the falls pounded down on him as he crossed them. It actually felt pretty good, it was refreshing and almost like a nice back massage of water pressure. He stopped, turned to face the water and let it pound down on his shoulders and chest for a moment before taking a quick glance around, nothing. He was safe, or so he thought.

A long, tanned, and toned arm extended out and promptyly tapped the shoulder, revealing the owner to be the person Dean had been trying to hide from. Azi simply stood in the cave, her arms crossed over her chest as the mist from the waterfall kept the air damp and cool. Her braid coiled over her shoulder like a dark snake, simply waiting as she spoke, raising her voice up. "Miss me?" was all she said.
Azi sent Dean an amused look before turning on a heel and heading back towards the way she came, carefully toeing her way along the slick rocks. It was dangerous and stupid, going in and out that way, but with Dean sitting in the falls, Azi was determined to do it her way. Just like always. Then again, things like that usually ended her up in the ER.

Dean spun around to see Azi. "In fact, yeah!" He said as his eyes followed her. He pulled himself out of the water and onto the rocks. "Hey! Where ya going?" He saw her on what looked like slippery rocks. "That doesn't look too safe..." He tried anyways, testing the wetness of the rock in front of him. There was a little traction on his bare feet, but not much. Regardless he grabbed the nearest handhold to steady himself and took another step.

Azi blinked rapidly, hardly really expecting a response as she clung to the wet rocks, holding on like her nickname's sake, a gecko. She frowned as she watched Dean test it, sighing and shaking her head. "You're going to fall off if you try this without having done it before," she said, shaking her head before moving backwards a few steps to stay close to him. She planned on grabbing onto him if he fell, somehow, and hopefully clinging to the rocks too.
"And I'm going to check on my dogs. I don't trust them to not get into trouble," she said as she moved forwards a bit, going slow and steady and pointing out footholds and hand holds for Dean. Her muscles moved in sync as she maneuvered her way out from behind the waterfall, blinking her eyes rapidly to clear the water out. She paused once out of the waterfall and above deeper water, clinging to the rocks and waiting for Dean to emerge before dropping down into the water.

"Too late to go back now..." Dean muttered as he glanced around his surroundings. True, the rocks were slippery, quite a bit more than he anticipated, but on the other hand, it was almost a challenge. He couldn't just not try, it would bug him forever. Then again, Azi was helping him with the footholds and the handholds. At one point a mistepping almost sent one foot flying down as he struggled for a moment to catch the ledge. His heart skipped a beat or two as he steadied himself, using his heel to catch another ledge. "Woah!" He gasped as he scrambled back towards Azi. Dying wouldn't exactly be the best way to impress a girl now would it?

The reaction Azrael had when Dean slipped and fell was instantaneous. She immediately shifted her weight, let go of a hand hold and balanced herself against the rock while grabbing his upper arm in a firm grip. Her mouth was pressed into a firm line, as her eyes scanned his body and made sure that he had a secure hold before she let go and moved away. The woman taught climbing to kids and lead climbed, so she sure as hell kept an eye on whoever she was climbing with. Shaking her head, she slowed down so that Dean was forced to use the same handholds and footholds she was using, preventing any further missteps. She wasn’t planning on doing a rescue today or anytime soon, and she doubted Piper would be thrilled by that turn of events.
When they were in deep enough water, Azi pushed herself off and landed in the lake, kicking out of the drop zone and surfacing a few yards away, looking up at Dean as she treaded water. “You can drop now. Just push off and fall. It’s more fun doing it here than back by the falls,” she teased a bit before turning in the water and making her way towards shore.

"Thanks," Dean gasped when his balance had regained. At first the drop zone seemed like a bit of a fall, but then he realized that it wasn't any higher than all the other things he had jumped off. Maybe it was just the fact that it was an unfamiliar area, or it could just be the pressure to impress a girl. Either way, he didn't think he was doing too good a job of impressing a girl. Dean sucked in a deep breath, right to his diaphragm. Music and climbing went hand in hand at that point. Then he jumped, adrenaline pulsing through his veins as he enjoyed the thrill of the fall. SPLASH he hit the surface of the water and immediately sped to the surface to catch is breathe. "Now THAT was fun!"

Azi snorted some, shaking her head. She was amused by him and let out a soft laugh as she walked out of the water. She looked over her shoulder at him, pausing some. "I'm so glad you're enjoying yourself, Dean."
Ask shrugged and continued out of the water before flopping down on the grass on her stomach. Wringing her hair out. She laughed some to herself as the dogs came over and flopped down, panting and snuggling into a pile in the sunlight and immediately closing their eyes. Azi laughed a bit, stretching out and enjoying the feeling of her muscles playing against each other.
She could feel the warmth get to her and it made her sleepy. She closed her eyes some, yawning and covering it with her hand before she pushed up on her arms, looking over her shoulder to check on Dean.

Dean let out his bright, kinda goofy looking, grin. "Well I hope you're having as much fun, I'd feel like an ass for having fun without you." He chuckled before swimming over to edge and pulling himself out of the water next to Azi. He scratched the head of the nearest dog, his body relaxing in the warm sunshine. Nothing really beats a day of waterfalls, shooting, big dogs, and of course a girl with a fun attitude. He reached over and hugged her, just because.
